Product Description CONSUMER ALERT: This television receiver has only an analog broadcast tuner and will require a converter box after February 17, 2009 to receive over-the-air broadcasts with an antenna because of the U.S.'s transition to digital broadcasting. Analog-only TVs should continue to work as before with cable and satellite TV services, gaming consoles, VCRs, DVD players, and similar products. For more information, call the Federal Communications Commission at 1-888-225-5322 (TTY: 1-888-835-5322), or visit the commission's digital-television Web site at: htttp://www.dtv.gov. The factory-reconditioned Yamaha DV-C6760 five-disc DVD changer is equipped to make the most of your home entertainment system by playing everything from ultra-high-resolution audio and video discs to MP3/WMA files to JPEG-filled picture discs. The unit supports dual-format DVD-Video and SACD playback, so you can enjoy elite resolution whether watching movies or listening to music. Further, the DV-C6760's progressive scan video output and Directional Correlational De-interlacing (DCDi) processing optimize the player for use with the latest high-definition and HD-ready TVs. Referred to as 480p for the number of horizontal lines that compose the video image, progressive scan creates a picture using twice the scan lines of a conventional DVD picture, giving you higher resolution and sharper images while eliminating nearly all motion artifacts. At the same time, DCDi processing virtually eliminates the jagged oblique lines that appear when standard interlaced video is viewed on progressive scan displays, helping reproduce beautiful, natural-looking moving images. Future-ready, indeed.

Broke after 18 months December 27, 2006 I have two of these changers, a black and and a silver one. The first broke after 18 months. After sending back to Yamaha certified repair Center, the option to repair was about $230. Guess what... A new one costs about the same.........
DVD Changer December 3, 2006 The Changer is nice and the remote has a lot of features like repeat all disc and things like that however my DVD changer broke after a year and a month and of course it was out of warranty. If you buy any DVD changer please get a warranty. That's my opinion
