Excellent, reliable, beautiful results January 5, 2009 Bought these for small dvd video project and have been consistently pleased. Data performance has been great as well. As others have mentioned, the printable surface dries quickly, and the results from my Epson R1800 are incredibly professional. I haven't had any bad burns on my Mac G5 with its Pioneer DVR-107D. The software I've used in Disc Cover RE.
not worth the price December 26, 2008 These Disks are not worth the price. Almost one out of two disks would have burn issues or would not complete the burning process on my DVD software also they had problems playing on some dvd players where at least one of the dvd players i think had no problem playing a dvd i made a year ago from another type of dvd.
I woudnt get this. the white space is nice but its not to me worth the price dunno why it got such high ratings.
Great Printable DVD Media! December 14, 2008 As a co-owner owner of a small video production company, we have searched for years to find DVD media that provide good compatibility with DVD players. The Verbatim brand fits the bill perfectly. In addition to the compatibility, the discs themselves are ink-jet printable (requires a printer with the ability to directly print onto DVD/CD). This type of printing, in itself, provides a huge boost in decreasing errors caused by using DVD's with labels that are placed onto the media.
We have used this brand of DVD media for years, and we highly recommend them for any use. They are a bit more expensive, but well worth it. My only negative on the Verbatim Printable is that I would wish the print quality would increase. Right now, they are acceptable, but I have used other printable media which has a different finish on the printable surface, and they give the finished printed disc a deeper, more vibrant look than what is achieved by using the Verbatim's, which comes out in a rather flat, unsaturated look. (Increasing the saturation on your print does help a little).
Great Buy December 2, 2008 3rd set to use and I have had zero bad. The print outs are great. I will always use these. The price is right too.
Good So Far November 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The first two didn't copy, but that might have been a glitch somewhere else in the process. Since then its been good so far.
