We recently remodeled our main bathroom and I was looking for a battery powered 'white' radio that was powerful enough to get good reception. I have has problems with other radios not holding a station and the sound coming and going and being fuzzy. I thought I would try the 'Sangean' since the product sounded like it might work. I am so very pleased with the radio. The reception is great, the operation is simple and it looks great in my new bathroom. I do not use it in my shower, but could if I wanted to. One of the best buys I have made recently.

Over the years I've become addicted to shower radios--I must have something to drown out my poor attempt at singing. However, I have found that I end up having to replace the shower radio much more often than I'd like to. Not anymore! After spending a small fortune on cheap shower radios over the years, I decided I wasn't going to make a purchase until I found what I truly wanted. This radio is it! It runs on D batteries (or AC--not recommended in the shower) that last forever. The reception is incredible--and the best part is that it's DIGITAL. No more hunting for what you think the station is. But wait, there's more. The presets have ended the feud in my household between my daughter and me. She would always change the station to her favorite--and I would end up having to hunt for mine with the poor analog tuners of the cheapie shower radios. Now we have more than enough presets pretuned that are available at the touch of a button. I only have two complaints with this radio. First, it cam be mounted in the shower and easily removed to be used as a portable. And 2nd, the quality is incredible. Well, those don't sound like complaints, until you have a teenager who keeps taking it off the wall and taking it to the beach! I guess I'm just going to have to get another one for her...

This is a great shower radio. The reception on previous radios was horrible, but this one picks up more clearly and the light up clock helps tremendously in the morning to get my husband out of the shower in a timely manner. I would recommend this as an investment in any one's bath room.

I am really enjoying this radio. It has great sound and picks up raido stations very well. I love the preset buttons it makes it very handy when others using the radio listens to different stations.

Superb sound (almost as good as my Kloss One). But what do you want in a portable?
Great battery life. Uses a couple of D batteries for long runtime.
Excellent tuner. Locks in stations perfectly.
Very good quality...case...buttons, etc.
A real find!
Only wierd quirk...what's with that security alarm feature?
