3 light kits December 12, 2008 The lights work great, and I like how they fold up. The rest of the information, nice, but not enough. Used the posing mat once, but was kind of cheesy. Be very careful with the bulbs, they have a tendency to burn out easy and get very hot. So shut them off between clothing changes. But over all a good light system to have when you are just starting out.
Overall good but had product issues December 1, 2008 Delivery time was great. I received an open item product and it was missing quite a few items. But the dealer was very responsive in correcting the situation. They shipped the missing parts immediately and replaced a broken item promptly.
Cheap!! November 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
THis is a horrible product!! It was made from very cheap plastic. The tripods were cheap. I also did not see anywhere in the ad that these are CONSTANT lights. I sent mine back, I am going to spend a little more for a better quality product.
Disaster. February 13, 2008 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
While this product looks really nice, comes with a DVD explaining everything. The bottom line is: It does not work. At least not for more than a couple of hours if you get a GOOD set. One of the lights blew a fuse presumably during my first big shoot and I had to return the whole thing. Bought another set immediately from Ritz Camera online. Amazon promised to cover the shipping. They did not. Upon receipt of the second set, a light blew in the first 5 minutes! Then, Ritz was uncooperative about the return. Obviously, this product is DEFECTIVE!
great first studio light kit February 12, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I recently purchased the three-light kit and it is perfect! Everything comes in a nicely packaged travel case. The instructional DVD is excellent. It guides you through the whole process of setting up the lights, and how to adjust them for your subject. It's very easy to use. All the portraits I have taken so far have turned out great!
