Quality and price were great. Length of wire as advertised. Metra needs to give UL rating on its wire. I had to call directly to see if if was code for in-wall use.

A nice heavy gauge wire that's more than sufficient for most home users. I didn't have any problem distinguishing the (+) from (-). There's not much to say about speaker wire except it works as expected and was much cheaper here than at a local electronics store.

Very finely stranded true 14 gauge speaker wire. I COULD tell the difference btwn this and a 50 foot $10 roll of standard 16 gauge I got yesterday from RadioShack. The RS wire had all of 19 strands whereas this METRA wire has nearly 200 strands. Neither is advertised as Oxygen Free nor are they priced as such. I did a side to side comparison between the two and I was impressed. The sound quality improvement with the METRA wire was significant. METRA's sound was fuller, louder with the same volume setting and more distinct. I'm removing and tossing the RShack wiring as soon as I get another roll of this in.
