| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The BEHRINGER C-1 is a professional and super-affordable large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern. It provides all the performance you'd expect in a top-notch professional condenser microphone: exceptionally flat frequency response, ultra low-noise transformerless FET input circuitry, and incredible audio transparency. With its high-quality transducer and gold-plated XLR output, the C-1 is very neutral-sounding and truly delivers on the promise of noise-free transmission. It also offers a phantom power LED indicator and a swivel stand mount. Whether miking acoustic or electric instruments or using it for vocals or drums, the BEHRINGER C-1 is an excellent choice for both live and studio applications.

More than I expected! January 10, 2009 I bought this to record podcasts and it's been better than I anticipated. Give it serious consideration!
C-1 Outstanding Value January 1, 2009 The Behringer C-1 microphone exceeds my expectations. I tried to yell into it and bang my guitar cords right up close to it, but I could not get it to overload or distort. There are probably reasons I should consider buying a $300 or $800 or $3000 mic for my home studio. But I can't think of any. Instead, I think I'll buy another C-1 or a C-2 pair, to record stereo.
Nothing Lke It! October 12, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
In audio recording, no one knows what brand Guitar you play, mike you use, or how average looking you are, unless you like to show off! This mike, how should we say..."does the trick!"
Cool for the money August 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It is ok. The mxl 90 is a better mic for 10$ more. I would buy that one insted. I have both and both are good but...mxl is way better freq response.
