some bump for some 8's August 8, 2008
I have a pair of 8" 50 watt max 3 way Optimus speakers from the mid 90's and they still sounded great but I was afraid of blowing them with my 110 watt per channel system so I replaced them with these pioneers and they sound great, better even but I wonder if I even need the mids now cuz they sound great with the treble turned way down. These speakers hit hard for some 8" woofers and would probably sound great solo in car or small box or something and I am very pleased with them.
