The Dayton Audio DA175-8 7" aluminum-cone woofer delivers powerful bass performance and truly remarkable midbass accuracy. The Vifa D25AG35-06 tweeter is widely regarded as being one of the best aluminum dome tweeters available, and has been used in countless high-end speakers over the years. These two drivers blend seamlessly at 2 kHz, for a great midrange and superb lower treble reproduction. The overall frequency response is quite flat, not fatiguing or harsh. The output levels and bass capabilities (down to the low 40s) of the twin 7" woofers are impressive.
