Monster Cable iCase Travel Pack August 28, 2008 I purchased this case based on the Monster Cable name. Monster Cable, in my mind, is synonymous with quality and this travel pack is no exception. Additionally, the travel pack included a Monster Cable car charger and headphone splitter. The price of the travel pack is the price of the headphone splitter alone so the travel pack and car charger are a bonus.
I liked the inside setup of the pack and the extra protection this pack provides. Each accessory including the iPod has a place. However, for the size of the pack, I would have expected additional accessories would fit better. The left interior pockets should be custom pockets or netted pockets for accessories rather than flat pockets for credit cards and CDs. If it wasn't for this slight disadvantage, I would have rated this a strong 5 stars.
I have used this pack travel everyday for the last few months and the pack still looks brand new and I plan to use for many more years. Bottom line, I highly recommend this travel pack for your iPod needs.
Great Item and Lightning-Fast Shipping!!! May 12, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I highly recommend this item. I got great value with the Travel Pack and accessories. It is very sturdy.
Great Case - Even better than I was expecting!!! January 1, 2006 I was a little hesitant to buy this case due to the reviews, but I'm very happy with it. It's the perfect size and has space for everything I use with my iPod. I received what I believe is a newer version than the current picture for this item... there are no cd sleeves - they have been replaced by credit card sleeves and the case looks more like a standard organizer - the left size has a flap to organize things like papers, and a long padded pocket for potentially holding a checkbook or other items. Even the sleeve for the iPod itself is different and has just one open space for the clickwheel and if you have them, the four buttons on earlier models. I have the 60G iPod with video and the case I received is even better than what I thought I would get. The Monster car charger and splitter are very nice looking and work well. I highly recommend this case!!
So-so July 24, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This case is sturdy and very well built, but it doen't have near the space and organizing ability I was expecting. It's better than what I had and is good for long trips, but Monster would do themselves a favor (as well as the consumer) if they would put a little more effort into reorganizing this case. Talk to the people who use it and go from there.
Actually a 5-star product, but 3-star for practicality March 7, 2005 14 out of 16 found this review helpful
This is one of the best products for transport and protection of your iPod (like most devices of its type, my iPod was scuffed and scratched within two days of use, and the standard package includes no shells, sleeves or carriers for the iPod or any way to carry the accessories--earbuds, firewire, USB cable, AC adaptor, etc.); it's very easy to carry and with numerous pockets and enclosures, you're sure to find a place for all your iPod accessories...but, and this is my reason for saying it's an impractical product: it is so big--notebook/binder-sized--that it defeats the nifty-smallness of the iPod itself. I'm also not sure why you need CD sleeves, except, maybe, to burn playlists...looks like the designers just added them on as an afterthought.
