Stays in place, leave you wanting more November 22, 2008 I've always had problems with earphones staying in place. even ones with hooks or clips. I decided to try these and they've stayed in place flawlessly. The sound is on the weak side, highs and mids are clear, but the lows are nearly non-existent. Get these if you're mobile and need your phones to stay put. but if you want sound take a different product
"Pain in the ear" headphones November 22, 2008 Avoid this earphones or you'll pay for it with pain in the your ears. It's uncomfortable and I can't wear it for more than 10 minutes. If I can return it, I would. I wouldn't want to give it away free as it'll just hurt someone else. It's uncomfortable and the sound quality is poor. The length of it is also one of the shortest on any headphones I've seen. For a pair of cheap, comfortable and good-quality headphones, I recommend the Sony MDR-J10 which Amazon has in various colors. That earphone is great for the gym, made with flexible rubber wire coating (not plastic and easily torn), is durable, is long enough for most use and sounds good.
I don't write many reviews but putting this Philips earphones on again drove to me to write a poor review for it. Avoid at all cost!
Awesome running headphones November 11, 2008 I have to run all the time being in the military so for me it's about fit and functionality. I have tried many headphones that wrap around the ears and these are by far the best! After reading other reviews, perhaps it may designed for people with "larger" ears but it more than that for me. Other headphones that I have tried fit over the ear fine with that doesn't prevent the bud from falling out and hanging outside the canal. Not only do they stay hooked on the ear comfortably but the buds stay put the whole time running, even while sweating. The sound quality is awesome too. They are no noise-canceling headphones but for the price, you just cant beat it.
Great Product November 10, 2008 I like this product a lot. If you are use to the ear bud earphones already then you will love this. These are super comfortable.
Decent sound, not good for runners. November 8, 2008 If you're looking for a great value on a good-sounding set of earbuds, go for it. Or if you walk for exercise, these will be good for you. However as a runner I found this model to be frustrating as they do not stay in place. Also, if you do any strength training where you're lying prone or on your stomach, they will fall out. Trying to find the right earbuds to wear when running has been a years-long effort for me and this model has not satisfied my need. But you will get a very good sound for a great price if that's all you care about.
