Product Description Vaultz CD Cabinets offer a fresh solution to high-capacity CD storage. Each drawer accommodates 165 CDs in CD Vaultz CD Folders, 60 CDs in slim cases, or 30 CDs in full size jewel cases. Therefore, the two-drawer unit has a maximum capacity of 330 CDs, while the four-drawer unit can hold 660! The drawers are lined with the soft black felt, are divided into three compartments, are completely removable, and secured with a key lock.

Vaultz Value September 1, 2008 Purchased 2 of the 4-drawer Vaultz CD Cases. They are terrific. Filled the first 2 and have just ordered 2 more. The only trouble I foresee is finding enough space if I expand the collection a third time.
Great product with only one issue. May 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Having read all of the other reviews about this cabinet I was a little worried about getting junk. I'm happy to say the bad reviews about this product are unwarranted.
First opinions
Ok this cabinet looks great right out of the box. It's very well made and quality control is great. All of the corners were straight, the outside backing was smooth and even and it gives you a feeling of safety for your CD's.
Functionality
The four drawers all fit perfectly and slide in and out freely with no problems. Each drawer has a small lock on it which is a nice feature if you plan on moving this cabinet from place to place as it keeps the drawers from opening. The locks all worked well with no issues.
Overall
I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who has alot of CD/DVD's to store as this will provide and excellent solution. I also purchased some of the paper sleeves made by Vaultz and they work well with this cabinet.
One Small Issue
I've left this at the end because it was only a small issue. When I first got the cabinet it had a very strong odor to it which I atribute to the glue used in construction. I took out all of the drawers and let it air out for a few days until I no longer noticed the smell.
Great idea, poor workmanship February 21, 2008 To start off, one of the drawers wouldn't close all the way, it kept getting hung up in the back. wtf! After examining it, I discovered the guide rail for the drawer wasn't even glued to the back of the box. Fixed that. Then I noticed it wasn't close to being level, wtf! Whoever put it together, did such a lousy job it wasn't fit properly in a couple of the back corners. It appeared as if it was forced together to the point where the (cheesy)wood just splintered. Some of the wood inside, some of the wood outside the molding. After some touch up paint and semi-handy-man-skills, all looks well. A lot of work for something that costs 70$...... I know, why didn't I return it? Cuz I'm IRISH!!
The idea is great, no other cabinets like this out there. Just too bad they can't make them a little better, as some other reviewers have noted. Don't get me wrong, NOW that it's fixed I love it!!!
If you want to use the file folders and file guides for this cabinet, thats more cash to fork over, cuz they only give you 6 folders with it. -1 star for workmanship -1 star for cost.
Poorly made Junk December 22, 2007 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I am really disappointed in the poor quality of Vaultz! I bought 2 of the 4 drawer units, and they looked so nice in the photos. But they are cheaply made with a black "sticker" covering the outside, and the drawers. Sort of like a big label. I really fought with them to get the drawers open because the underside of the drawers got horribly stuck to the material under it. So far 3 of 8 drawers are stuck or very difficult to open. The underside of the drawer has a sticker which will for sure get rubbed every time the drawer is opened & closed. Think about it. The bottom of the drawer is going to wear, especially under the weight of a bunch of CD's in the drawer.
This black sticker is the same sticker that covers the front & sides of that drawer, but only 1/2" of the bottom edge. So when it gets rubbed a bit, the sticker rolls - the sticky glue gets exposed & sticks tight to the cabinet. Just really lame. As part of getting the drawrs unstuck it's probably that the black covering will get peeled up at the bottom edge, ruining the front too. Or you might tear the drawer apart trying to get the *&%#$ thing open.
Very poor design, and very poor construction. For the price I was expecting wood, metal, or even plastic construction, but it appears to be thin fiberboard covered with a black sticker. I could have accepted the fiberboard if the drawers were still working ok after the 3rd day. They do hold a lot of CDs, especially in clear plastic sleeves.
I recommend clear plastic sleeves over the white paper with circular window, and that white paper always hides the rim of the cd so you can't read some. The "3CDRice Diskeeper anti-static" clear plastic cd sleeves are great, and there is no need to label the envelopes, since you can see the cd inside.
It's amazing that there isn't more choices for mass cd storage like this. PowerFiles looked cool, but I hear they break quickly, and can't really take the weight of the number of cd's they can hold. My next solution is a bunch of wire CD storage baskets. Well made, but I need to add shelves to keep each row off of the baskets below it. And I needed to remove the magnets on one side that hold them together, or the baskets won't slide out like drawers.
Anyway, don't be fooled by the high price of Vaultz, they are cheaply made and lame. You're better off with a plastic or wire basket solution.
CD or DVD Storage Cabinet May 8, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I wanted a storage unit to fit a limited space in entertainment system. The dimensions were what I needed and when I saw the Vaultz name on this I expected the quality to be good based on other Vaultz brand CD cases.
The quality is excellent and each of the drawers in this cabinet can be locked if desired. Unit was exactly what I expected; in this case I would have preferred a wood grain finish to coordinated with rest of entertainment center, but I am completely satisfied with this unit.
