Great equipment travel case September 23, 2008
The Pelican cases are very good and are the standard in the business. We use these to transport fragile, but heavy broadcast and IT equipment. WE have used other brands in the past, but Pelican offers the best. The 1620 is perfect for our current needs as it's watertight, medium weight, wheeled, and very configurable in the inside. The foam is a bit tough to work with when trying to plan out what to remove, and once you remove a section, it's no longer attached (hence why I'd give 4.8 stars vs. 5 but I don't have that choice).
worth the weight June 26, 2007
this is a great case. it is strong and durable. It could be used for video, although i use it for photography. being able to wheel it around is fantastic.
