this is excellent for parties very easy to use, pops almost every kernel.
Nice features. doesnt burn the pop corn. I used it for our halloween party pops plenty......

I had a friend with a popcorn maker like this whom makes the best popcorn ever so we asked for one when we got married. WE LOVE IT!!!! It's great for movie night at home or our EMS/Fire Stations!!! You don't have to buy Brand Name ingredients either, we buy store brand & it's still great. The ulitimate gift for a popcorn lover!!!

I used the standard popcorn you buy in the grocery store. Followed the instructions--1 T. oil, plus 1/4 cup Orville Reddenbacher's gourmet popcorn, plus 1 T. margarine on top. I've made about 6 batches and all taste the same: chewy, not fresh and light. So if anyone knows a popper that makes fresh and light, I sure would like to know.

Ordered this for my boyfriend because he loves popcorn. Much better than the microwavable stuff. Fairly easy to use and clean up. Pop's about 80% of the kernels as long as you don't overfill it. You may want to order the kernels and flavors online because most stores just don't have a selection at all. Very satisfied.

The last time I owned a Stir Crazy was over ten years ago. I got tired of all the Old Maids I was getting from micro wave popcorn. So I came back to the Stir Crazy and I am glad I did. I seldom if ever, see Old Maids anymore.
