With G-Protection antiskip buffer, MP3 playback, a built-in AM/FM tuner, and an automatic volume limiter system (AVLS), Sony's D-FJ61 portable CD player has just what you need to enjoy your music on the go. Sony's patented G-Protection system provides continuous protection against skips even during the most vigorous activities. The AVLS keeps the maximum volume down to protect your hearing. The D-FJ61 can play back CDs and CD-R/RW discs, and features include a bass boost, hold switch, repeat, shuffle, and programmable play functions. A line out lets you connect the CD player to your audio system when you're at home, and it comes with a set of stereo headphones for listening on the road. The built-in AM/FM tuner allows you to listen to and easily access your favorite stations. The FM antenna is in the headphone cord and the AM antenna is a built-in ferrite bar, so there are no extra cables or cords to get in your way. omg this CD player is soooo awesome i had it for at least 5 years and it JUST now died out. its a shame they dont make it anymore...

I LOVE this cd player! It's small, circular shape is easy on the hands. It's not bulky. Simple, lightweight, easy to use. Not fancy in design, but EVERYTHING WORKS as it should! The hand strap is REALLY great! I was about to drop mine, when i forgot i had the handstrap on my wrist! WHEW!!! Didn't hit the ground, cuz of the handstap on my wrist. The durabiity is is BETTER than the "Newer" Sony models. This model is from the year 2000. At the "peak" of Sonys' BEST cd players. THIS IS A "MUST HAVE" Cd Player! You WON'T Be Disappointed!! Too bad Sony doesn't make this model anymore. I'd like to have a couple more on hand!....Oh well, Buy this model cd player if you truly want durability, quality, a classic Sony.

My friend has this exact type. This is the best. It has a tuner/Anti Shock. If your looking for a Cd player this is the one. You wont belive how clear it is.
