Great product - very pleasing design October 1, 2008
I purchased this radio to listen to NPR and music while getting dinner ready in the kitchen. The radio has a great sound and very good reception without any extra antennas. And most importantly, it has a beautiful design. I am thinking of purchasing a second one for another room in the house. Compared to other radios in the "appealing design" category, (i.e. the Sonoro Cubo radio) the Tivoli Model One is priced very decently especially considering the quality of this wonderful retro piece.

I bought this product for a specific purpose: I wanted to be able to listen to NPR in one area of the house. All of my other radios, including my Bose, made NPR sound like it was being broadcast from the bottom of a deep well. I have zero knowledge about electronics, so I made my selection based on the other reviews that showed the people who bought this product were really happy with it. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, turned it on to the NPR station without using the extra antenna thingy, and it sounded just great. Call me: Very Pleased.

This is the best radio we have ever bought. The sound quality is very clear. The wood exterior is easy to clean and look great. My husband wants one for every room in the house.

We purchased this radio for my mother-in-law. She is in an area of poor
reception and wanted to listen to our son's radio show. This little radio
did the trick - has good reception, excellent sound quality, is easy to use and is attractive to boot.
