 Small and slim but has great sound and quality August 24, 2007
This is a great little unit for listening to audio books or music.
Pros:
For audiobooks the Archos has the capablility of bookmarking, pausing, rewinding, and forwarding.
The sync with Windows Media 10 took some time to figure out but after that it is simple to do.
Cons:
The Archos has a rechargable battery but doesn't come with an AC adaptor. In order to charge the unit, you have to plug it into your computer USB port making sure your computer is on.
Also, the directions say that the manual is on the unit but actually you have to go to their website and download it to your computer. But this also saves you space on your Archos.

This is a good product. Easy to use. Battery lasts for many hours. Holds plenty of music. Delivery went well, I received my player earlier than expected.

Product is great and simple to use, only wish you could charge it independent of a usb cable.
Good product-poor unit August 10, 2007
Based on trial use of the product a unit was ordered through Amazon.com.
The unit was delivered in non-working condition. Exterior of package did not warrant refusal but interior packing material was skimpy. The hard drive of the unit was apparently not functional. On July 24,'07 unit was returned (at my cost) for repair under the manufacturer's guarantee. It has not yet been returned
