 Best media marker out there, short of engineering pens January 31, 2008
True, the fine-point tip tends to dry up after 150 or so discs, although the medium tip seems to last forever. Better than the cheap Sharpies, which don't write a smooth line, fade quickly, smear easily, and make you write with huge letters. The only thing better would be very pricey precision engineering pens that take India ink and can get really messy. Anyone who uses lacquer-based markers risks ruining their discs. These Memorex pens do cost more and don't last that long -- but they're worth it if you value your media and want your labeling to look decent. Why they cost so much is a mystery, so I rate this 4 stars instead of 5.

Total rip-off, low ink. No better than Sharpie. The ink will be gone after writing on 100-200 CDs/DVDs. Get a sharpie instead for $1. This product is a total rip-off.

I bought all of the different CD/DVD markers that can be purchased.
These are the only markers that work properly.
All of the others either write too wide or
not dark enough or slide around the surface too easily.
