Amazon.com Product Description Sometimes all you need is a simple wake-up call, which is when the Timex 3503E alarm clock comes in handy. Boasting a 0.9-inch LCD display with a bright blue backlight, the clock is easy to read and use, with a straightforward button arrangement and large snooze bar. Though it doesn't offer a radio, it does include both an ascending alarm (the volume gradually increases as you wake) and a repeating snooze option. Plus, it works on a single AA battery (not included), so you can take it along on camping trips or overseas travel. Waking up in the morning has never seemed so easy. What's in the Box 3503E clock, user's manual.

Terrific little alarm clock August 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was so happy with this small alarm clock that I bought two more and want more for gifts if I can get them. It is ridiculously easy to set and you can reset it within 10 seconds. The alarm sounds dependably, and when it does go off, it gets louder and louder until there's no getting around it. Yet, if you fail to turn it off (when, say, you're not around to hear it), it will still go off the next day at that same time with no resetting. It super lightweight (you can tote it around in a pocket in case you're afraid of forgetting something), very stable because of its squatty little body and, unlike what one reviewer said, is not hard to turn off - either hit the snooze or flip the switch to off. The only fault I find with it (but understand why they did it) is that the light goes completely off so you cannot see the time in the dark until you hit the snooze button; but that preserves the battery life of the one AA battery needed. I just always keep it in the same place so I can reach for it if I need to know the time in the middle of the night.

This clock has huge numbers on the face. However, one must hit the snooze bar to see the numbers. Kind of useless at night. I really would like to just roll over and see the time. However, you must find the clock and hit the snooze to see it. Ridiculous. I do not recommend it.
Just the basics January 10, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This clock is a simple, easy to use basic clock. Changing settings is simple but the small size of a travel clock makes the buttons somewhat difficult to operate. The alarm will get the attention of all but the the soundest of sleepers. The display is bright but the bar to turn it on takes a determined push which makes an an annoying clack.
Basic product, basic performance January 2, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This alarm clock is as basic as it gets, but it does have nice big numbers and is battery powered. We move it around to rooms without a clock when we need to be able to identify when the baby last ate, etc.
