Great Alarm Clock August 28, 2008 I was looking for specific features in an alarm clock that I was only able to find with this product. I wanted to be able to see, without pushing a button, that the alarm was set and what time it was set for. Also, I wanted an easy to find alarm reset button. Most alarm clocks give you a huge snooze button which I don't use, and the alarm reset button is not big enough. The alarm reset button on this clock is not as big as I would like, but it is easy enough to find because it is near the edge and bigger than the button next to it. Other positives are price, small footprint. Only negative is analog radio which I have found with other alarm clocks can go out of tune if the station you set it for is not strong. So far so good with this one. Sony makes a more expensive model with a digital tuner but the footprint is larger.
Quiet alarm August 10, 2008 They will have to make the alarm louder on this thing but the radio will blow you right out of bed. This is an easy one to set the alarm on and the snoozer is easy to hit so if you forget the alarm and just use the radio this is a great little item with a small footprint.
small and sound s great August 1, 2008 Sony ICF-C630 FM/AM Clock Radio with AC/DC Operation sounds great and takes up very little space.....Nice addition to our kitchen....
Brighter than I thought July 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This alarm clock works great and having two alarms is nice but even on the low brightness setting it is really bright! I was hoping for something that didn't cast a hard glow but unfortunately this does. Setting it down on it's face to hide the glow can turn off the alarm because the on/off buttons are on its face!
Useful for the deployed. June 9, 2008 This clock is great! It keeps time very well even when the power is dirty. I was in Iraq where the power is lets say not as clean as it should be (in addition to being 220v). After hooking this up to my transformer (it's not dual voltage, only real flaw for me), it kept perfect time. Now I used other clocks including ones made specifically for 220v @ 50Hz, sometimes I'd lose 1 hr a day or more. With this clock I never had a problem. Fair warning: If you are the type of person to hits snooze a lot, you my hit the weekend setting button and turnoff the alarm.
