fairly decent player, does its job February 7, 2007

Pros:
very nice size and very light
the screen is decent and lights up well in different colors (red, green, blue, purple, etc)
voice recorder is good and picks up noise from a distance so you don't have to have it right at your mouth to record (but it does crackle a little in plackback)
it is easy to navigate the music menus but not the other menus
Cons:
the buttons are a little wonky, and seem pretty flimsy
the menu navigation is weird and everything is abbreviated so its hard to tell what things mean
no belt clip
the headphones it comes with muffles the music. when i had them plugged in i had the volume comfortably at 23 then when i plugged my headphones in i had to turn it down to 15 because 23 was waaay too loud
overall this is a good mp3 player for the money. i got it for running and i wanted something light and inexpensive so if i dropped it, i wouldn't mind too much.
