No more losing the cap... September 1, 2008 I love the concept of the USB connector sliding in and out however I was hesitant to buy it because I wasn't sure if it would lock in place well after sliding it out. Well, it locks well and works just fine. I've owned several Kingston flash drives and I have always been happy with them, this is no exception. These are very inexpensive now and for the price, I can't complain about getting 4GB and not having to worry about losing the cap.
A good flash drive, but hard to hook up to a key chain September 1, 2008 The flash drive seems to work fine. The problem is hooking the device to a key chain. It comes with nothing to hook up to the key chain. Supposedly u can put a string through the back of the flash drive and tie that to your key chain. I finally got this to work, but it feels very flimsy. I am satisfied with this product as a flash drive, but if you plan on hooking it up to a key chain, I would not reccomend this.
Kingston Data Traveler 4GB USB 2.0 August 31, 2008 I don't care about the bad things other people say about this. This worked out better for me than I could have imagined. I use this all the time and I think the transfer rate is plenty fast. Worth every penny. It's not as flimsy as people have been saying either. Seems plenty sturdy to me. Cheaper than the weak ones at walmart and can hold a lot more data.
Kingston Data Traveler 100 4GB August 18, 2008 The absolute nicest thing about this drive: no cap! I *hate* caps on USB drives. I am constantly misplacing them. No cap; no misplacing. Why don't more companies make the capless variety? Other than that, it is a pretty much standard USB drive. No fancy extra stuff like U3 that just gets in my way.
Great for the price August 6, 2008 Works perfectly - a great buy for the price. My only complaint is that the retracting mechanism feels pretty cheap. It doesn't slide that well. It's a minor inconvenience, but worth noting.
