just impressive July 4, 2008 Have it now for some weeks, and I`m still impressed what you can get for your Money. The sound is very good and the Bass too. No need for "better" Headphones. Honestly I do not use it as much and for so much it could give you, like the voice recording feature or the electronic books you could download. It works very easy and good with my iBook G4 and iTunes. It do not allow you to see its content of music files in the iTunes Window, but the Image on the desktop is the door to your Sansa Clip Memory overview. Drag and drop music files ( even Bundles) from your iTunes straight to the Sansa Clip Image on the desktop and it goes automatically to the right place in your Clip. Can`t be easier. The battery is also very good, no complains so far. Even the fact that you can unplug it straight from the Computer without having to "disconnect" it first makes it fool proof. Don`t try that with an iPod, it will be ruined. I still get a warning from my computer thought, to eject or disconnect it for damage reasons, but the Clip did not mind it. If you want to give it for a gift, thats the right gadget with a cool look and will impress, for just 30$. SanDisk.....well done!
Great MP3 player for the money! July 4, 2008 I've been using this for a couple of weeks, and so far I've been pleasantly surprised with everything about it. It's very lightweight, the clip works great, and it's easy to see the info on the screen. Considering what I paid for this, I'm impressed with all the features it has. I had some trouble figuring out how to get from one program to another (FM radio to MP3 to voice), but it's no problem now. If anyone is looking for a simple and inexpensive MP3 player with lots of features at a reasonable price, this is it.
Cute and gets the job done July 3, 2008 It is a really simple and effective mp3 player. Fragile, and really small. The clip is removable and useful. The battery life is a little lower than what is stated. Headphones, of course, suck. In bright lights or in the sun you can't see the screen, but all you have to do is shadow with your hand. Good buy, and I would do it again.
Don't try this at home... July 2, 2008 Because of the complaints about week batteries I waited a couple of months before commenting, but it's going strong. I have 10, one hour lectures on this and it only uses a fraction of the memory. But the thing that is making me want to comment, is that I washed it in the washing machine clear through a hot heavy duty cycle. It came out with a little mist under the screen, and wouldn't power on. I left it in a warm spot for a few days, and it worked just like new. It didn't even lose any of the data. Like I said, I wouldn't recommend doing this on a lark, but I'm really impressed.
very user friendly July 1, 2008 this is very small and very user friendly. easy drag n drop. volume controls are easy to use along with the menu. I like the clip but i wished it was metal like the ipod shuffle. Yet, i am glad to have bought the sansa clip.
