Bought it, tried it, returned it! Don't repeat August 13, 2008 It looks nice and seems well made (materials wise) but the Sansa View does not fit inside. It seems the designers didn't actually have a Veiw inhand when designing this armband. It is a complete waste of time and money buying this one.
Piece of junk August 4, 2008 This product is so awful, I would think the company that designed should know better. This is NOT for the Sansa View. It doesn't have openings where you NEED openings. The Sansa View is IMPOSSIBLE to REMOVE once in the sleeve, I actually had to cut the plastic to remove my player. Complete junk and waste of money. I would have had more enjoyment burning the money I used to buy this garbage.
Don't Buy for a Sansa View June 5, 2008 Nice arm band, but don't expect to easily use with the Sansa View. It is hard to get in and out of the case, you can't access the power switch or charging port.
Believe the reviews! April 4, 2008 I bought this thinking that surely Griffin, maker of great armbands and cases, couldn't have possibly made something as bad as the reviews. I was wrong. It is every big the piece of total rubbish that everyone says it is. The build quality is fine, the materials are good, but you have to be willing to practically snap your player in half as you force it into this case. Then once it's in there's no access to the sync/charge cable, power button, or MicroSD slot. The cut-out ring for the wheel is too small so that it binds the wheel, the plastic scratches very easily as well. If you, like me, disregarded the reviews and are stuck with this here's how I fixed it to work for me. (Obviously, do all this without your player in the crystal case to avoid damage) I bought a crystal hard snap-on case for the View. Forced it into the armband, heated the holder with a hair drier and moulded it to the hard plastic crystal case. Then with the crystal case in place, proceed to make a cut across the length of the bottom of the fabric backing to allow access for the charging cable, and do the same for the power button on the side and for the wheel on the front. But seriously Griffin, redesign this thing and make it properly.
Bottomline, DON'T buy this no matter how much you want it or how cool it looks, it's rubbish from the get go.
Great price made up for flaws April 2, 2008 I purchased the mp3 holder at Best Buy this week for $5.99 on sale, and slipped my Sansa e280 into the holdder. Getting the player into the holder was very snug , but I had no problem using the selection wheel once the device was in (it was not to small as mentioned earlier). In addition, an earlier reviewer mentioned that they cut a slot into the holder in order to reach the power button. I found this not necessary, all I did was to press through the plastic to turn the deivce on/off.
I do agree with a previous reviewer that inorder to charge the device you will have to take it out of the armband holder which is a pain.
