A piece of nothing April 23, 2008
The Emerson RP3228SL Survivor flashlight IS a survior. It has survived being knocked out of the market despite it's dim flashlight and the radio (including the weather radio) which give you 5% reception and 95% static. The whole product is cheap in construction: the markings are too small to see, the controls are too flimsy to be accurate and the night light works only when the machine is plugged in. Plugging it in is a feat itself in that the electrictal prongs are on the bottom and the unit hangs precariously from a wall outlet. The only worse than the product itself are Amazon's hoops and barriers you encounter when trying to return the article. It seems as if they try to make it impossible to return poor or defective items.
