I could see obvious striations in the shield when it was on my Cowon, and, in order to put it on the Cowon, you need to moisten it with a provided spray. I don't think I overdid it with the spray, but it was still enough moisture that when I had it finally in place on my screen, I realized some of the fluid had leaked INTO my Cowon through the edges of the screen!! Fortunately it dried (took days) with no apparent ill effects, but I was not happy about that. It was also difficult to remove this. I'm now using the i-nique screen protector for my Cowon and I love it.
