Broke shortly after purchase April 15, 2008 We liked it because it looked nice in the kids room and seemed to have easy controls for the little fingers. But the thing broke down function after function within the firs year and now would not turn on at all.
Disney Boombox January 18, 2008 I purchased Disney by Memorex DB3000-C CD Boombox (Classic)for my 6 year old special needs grandson. It's perfect for him because it has nothing protruding outside the case to hurt himself on or that he can grab. He loves music and listens to it alot which gives him a chance to dance and work on his physical coordination. It looks good and is made very sturdy. I'm very happy with my purchase!
don't buy this one! April 4, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
my son got this 2 years ago when he was a year old. it was always on a shelf and controlled by an adult. the first one we had didn't work straight out of the box. we exchanged it for another one, but it hasn't worked all that great either. it played some cd's and not others (none of our cd's were damaged). the cd player finally just stopped working. looking for a new one that actually works.

Don't Buy December 30, 2004 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
We purchased this cd player for our child and the music quality was so apalling we had to return it - twice - thinking the first one was a fluke. That says a lot, as we didn't have high standards for the required sound quality (it's for a 21 month old). Our biggest issue was the static that played right along with the music.
