Key Words: Water resistant! February 24, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
To those who complained about this product getting water into it and leaking into the shower, etc. . . this radio should not even be inside your shower! It should be near it, but not inside -- water should never even have the opportunity to get into it. This is advertised as a water RESISTANT radio, NOT a water PROOF one.
Thanks!
my wife loves this! January 18, 2007 My wife loves the radio and uses it everytime. She wishes the dials were a bit bigger.
Radio looks impressive...quality not so impressive July 25, 2005 I purchased the shower cd/radio for my youngest son this past christmas. Now, less than 6 months of use in the shower/bath (and it wasn't used but maybe 4-5 times) it failed to hold off the water from getting inside. It will now be added to my ever-growing electronic junk pile.
keep searching April 25, 2005 42 out of 42 found this review helpful
If you are looking for a dependable cd player you can use in the shower, keep searching! After just one use of this product, water leaked into the battery compartment, and it exploded in my shower leaving black powder everywhere. It wasn't just an accident either, the battery compartment was closed and screwed in securely, it was purely a defective piece of machinery. The other shower cd players are a little more expensive, but at least they might last longer than two days.
