Replaced 3 Times September 28, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
In October 2006, I purchased the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset with Multipoint Technology. I really love the fit--it's light, and I forget I'm wearing it. Unfortunately, I have had problems charging the headset. It is now September 2007, and I am once again returning the headset for a replacement because the headset no longer accepts a charge. So in less than a year, I am now on headset number four (I purchased one, and I am replacing it for the third time) because it no longer accepts a charge. Plantronics has been great about replacing it. My only concern is that the warranty will run out soon.
Light, comfortable and easy to use July 19, 2007 I hardly feel this headset on my ear - I had a motorola headset, which would "dangle" funnily on my ear. I replaced it with this one and am very pleased with my decision.
I also tried using the Jawbone for its noise-cancellation feature, but promptly returned it! For the price, it didn't really do the job well. I am very happy with my Voyager 510 for its noise-cancellation quality amongst other things.
The volume control and on/off switch buttons on the thick ear hook part of the headset are a little hard to reach. But I prefer that to over-sensitive buttons anyway.
Bravo, very well done, comfortable, easy to use, great sound quality ! March 3, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I reviewed the Jabra JX-10 and gave it one star. See my review if you care. This device exceeds the Jabra by leaps and bounds, and I have had pure delight wearing / using / charging and cant say anything negative at all. It wins on comfort, style, ease of use, holds a charge for two days, is easy to adjust for incoming call volume, and easy to be heard by other callers.
I would highly recommend this device overall !
Now I can drive and use my cellphone guilt-free!! December 9, 2006 This is a wonderful item if you use your cellphone a fair amount. You'd never know it's wireless. Just like your cordless phone at home. The technology is so good nowadays, that it sounds nearly as good as a wired phone. It allows me to talk and drive safely. Even safer than carrying on a conversation with a passenger because I obviously don't have to take my eyes off the road to make eye contact with the person I'm talking to. The device is small enough that it's not even that noticeable when you're wearing it. This thing weighs less than an OUNCE! You barely know it's there. Comfortable fit too! Way to go, Plantronics!
