Good Batteries, Great Price October 10, 2008
I have tried this brand several times and never got a dud. They last a decent amount of time. Not as long as a duracell but certainly long enough for my daughter's toys (Which she runs down all the time anyways by leaving things on)
Don't buy no-name batteries. I tried the cheap generics from China and they are mostly junk. the shelf-life on the generics are terrible and they are unreliable at best.
These batteries seem to last about 75% of Duracells and last twice as long as the cheapo generics.
The best bang for the buck, by far.

I was only able to use about 30 of my last Maxell 48-count package before the remainder started gassing and became ruined with corrosion. Sort of changes your effective price per battery ...
