Product Description Gauges 10-13-17-26-36-46. Gibson Strings reinvented the modern guitar string by going back to the days of using only the finest pure nickel wire and slowly wrapping it over the highest quality Swedish steel hex core for maximum strength and stability. The warm, full tone gives your electric guitar a solid new voice. These strings are the favorite with top players around the world! All Gibson strings are bench tested and builder approved to bring the best sound possible out of your instrument.

Excellent String for any Les Paul electric guitar January 20, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I own an Epiphone Les Paul Standard electric guitar, and these strings are pretty much the only strings anyone should use for such a guitar. The feel is like none other. I used to use Ernie Balls (super slinky) which were also great strings, but these Gibsons are a definite upgrade from the Ernie Balls. I recommend them to anyone with a Les Paul style guitar.
The very best strings for Gibson and Epiphone lovers. January 16, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After forty years of buying strings for my guitars, VR10's has become my favorite and the most reliable.
Best Quality Strings Available August 12, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These are the best strings I've found for my Gibson SG. They have a warm, rich tone that really brings the guitar to life. The strings are exceptionally corrosion resistant, stay in tune longer than any other strings I've used, and I've never had a Gibson Vintage Reissue string break, ever. Give them a try, after all, if you don't like them you can always change strings.
