Editorial Reviews:
Product Description SBT-USC1M is perfect for use with serial devices that you would want to convert to USB. This unique cable allows you to use bridge/connectivity between the Universal Serial Bus (USB) and Serial Port Interface. The USB PDA/Serial Adapter provides you with an external serial (DB-9 male) Plug-n-Play connection for use with computers, notebooks, and hand held computing devices that support USB. The PDA/USB Serial Adapter has a standard type A USB plug. This USB PDA/Serial Adapter provides PDAs, digital cameras, modems, and ISDN terminal adapters with high quality serial connections at a data transfer rate of over 500 Kbps. This makes the USB interface transparent to serial peripherals, allowing them to easily interface with USB computers. It eliminates the setup hassle found with traditional serial port connections. This device also supports energy saving suspend and resume operations.

Customer Reviews:
Works Great November 9, 2008 Got this cause it was cheap. Works very well. Nice having the short cable so less cable on my desk. No reason to pay $20 at the local computer store, pick this one up and save some money.
USB to Serial adaptors January 12, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have three serial devices and only one serial port on my computer. So, I got two of these cables and with a little tinkering, all three are now successfully hooked up and running. Great deal. Each came with 3" driver discs which I don't know what to do with (and didn't use).
