It occupies just 1U of rack space for the drawer and comes with a detachable 16-port KVM IP Cat5 switch. The SmartRack 116IP offers local and remote access over IP via web browser to 16 servers. You can see, control, and switch between your servers all with a single solution. This solution is based on Minicom's innovative ROC technology in which each computer/server is directly connected to the switch via the ROC using standard Cat5 cable at a distance of up to 30m/98ft. in a star configuration. It supports PS/2, SUN, and USB servers. It is also KVM.net enabled and falls under its management umbrella and is ideal for those looking for centralized management. With its built-in IP board, it can be used either locally or over IP.
