I ordered 2 of these units; one for a gift and the other for myself. Unfortunatly I live in one of only a couple of counties in the U.S. who can't use the product because we can't receive the signal. That info should have been stated somewhere in the description; possibly a link to the government's website. I ended up giving them both away at a cost of approx. $60.00. very disappointed.

This machine has met my expectation and has been reliable since purchasing it two months ago.I have not had problems with the battery backup that has been mention in other reports.It is easy to program and all the controls are logical.The only con, which is minor, is that the green indicator light is always lit and is rather bright for my liking for the bedroom. I solved that problem by placing several layers of transparent tape over the light to tone it down. I recommend it

We moved to a country community last fall; there is no public alert siren for threatening weather. We are at least 45 miles from the nearest major (network TV) city. Our weather can change before anything appears on TV. This radio has been wonderful. It is easy to program, easy instructions, you can hear the alarm from any location in the house, and very capable of waking you from a dead sleep. We have been very happy with this purchase. It has activated for us several times in the last 6 months, each time with pertinent weather info. We've recommended it to neighbors, family and friends.

This weather radio is fairly easy to program. I have used it for approximately one month now and I am pleased with the product. Everyone should have a weather alert radio and take the time to program the SAME codes.
