Product Description This amazing compact flashlight is like a spotlight you can carry in your pocket or purse! NINE light-emitting-diode (LED) bulbs produce a flood of pure, white brilliance but because LED bulbs produce very little heat, three inexpensive AAA batteries will last for over 20 hours continuous. Positive-action switch (click on/click off) won't go on accidently in car, toolbox or pocket. Heavy-weight anodized aluminum barrel is corrosion- and water-resistant, textured for sure grip even when wet.

Worst item ever ordered December 25, 2008 I read all the reviews AFTER I order three of these and none of them worked. Wish I had read them before. I appreciate that some of you can MAKE them work by soldering, etc., but I purchased them for my 85 year old Dad for a Christmas present and the item should work out of the box. No clear direction on which way batteries should go or which way battery pack should go back into flashlight. I tried every possibility I could find and nothing worked. I have never had occasion to return an item from Amazon, but all three of these didn't work and are being returned the day after Christmas. Such a disappointment.

Always wear the appropriate clothing and safety equipment when operating this product. Wash hand thoroughly after the use and handling of this product."
I bought two of these for my niece and nephew for Christmas, only to discover today (Christmas) this alarming warning.
Great little light December 16, 2008 Small, inexpensive, and very powerful. The LEDs give this light much better battery life and brightness than a normal incandescent bulb, and the push-button switch on the back makes operation easy. The case is made from aluminum, and has a plastic lens and rubber push-button on the back. The only issue I have is with the durability. This light got dropped once or twice (just from a foot or two), and now a connection is loose somewhere inside, meaning sometimes only half the LEDs light up. Definitely not as durable as a Mag-Lite, but that's solved by not dropping it.
9 LED flashlight December 9, 2008 I haven't used this light a lot since I got it, so my experiences with it are limited.
(I bought it for emergency use and haven't had emergencies)
The very small size is a boon for auto or pocket.
I was totally unprepared for the brightness this little sucker produces.
So for as little as I've used it, and the quite reasonable price, it is a very good item.
(A fiend came over the same day this was delivered and she was so impressed with the small size and brightness, she had me order two for her.)

Here's what the packaging on this flashlight says:
"Normal everyday use of this product is likely to expose the user to dust and microscopic particles containing lead and other chemicals known in the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm."
So... why is this product even being sold!? I threw mine away, unopened. Thanks for nothing.
