| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description JamP3 is an affordable MP3 player that delivers up to an hour of solid-state quality, skipless music, either downloaded from the Internet or recorded from a CD. JamP3 makes downloading music files from your computer and taking them with you as easy as 1-2-3-JAM! In just three easy steps you can get music from the Internet or your favorite CDs, sort and organize using the custom JamP3 software, and load onto your JamP3 player to take with you on the go. It's that easy! JamP3 also makes it easy to capture and collect your favorite tunes. Play up to an hour of solid-state music or expand your JamP3's memory for unlimited playtime. With its sleek size, belt clip and headphones, JamP3 is meant to go where you go.
Editorial Review The JamP3 holds only one hour of music and can't record directly from CDs, but we were still pleased with its performance. Its sound is clear and balanced; it's made of impact-resistant, hard, rounded plastic; and it's more stylish than many other music-playing toys for older kids. It even comes with earphones. Because of its shorter memory, however, music lovers will need to frequently reprogram it to have any kind of variety. That being said, it works just fine and, once set up, is quite reliable. Note: Very young kids might be confused with programming it, and older teens may prefer the memory and functionality of a more expensive MP3 player. --Diane Beall

somewhat cheap mp3 player January 19, 2006 have had mine for several years. it is only an mp3 format player. no support for secure wma format. very good to take on short trips limited memory though an mmc card is a must. poor battery performance for a product that has no moving parts. the company that made this went belly up! makes a good player for the kiddies. allthought i have one other wma/mp3 player and a minidisc. this player is still my favorite. for ease of use. microsoft is currently promoting their "plays for sure" campaign but the only way to play your music for sure is to use a portable player that plays mp3 format. this player does just fine but, don't expect a lot.
SOUND IS REALLY BAD! December 25, 2002 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Theres three things wrong with this thing. (1) It's not loud at all, u will need a amp to listen to this player. (2) Only 16MB, I could only put up to 8 songs on it. (3) IT EATS YOUR BATTERIES UP IN AN HOUR. (Get rechargeable batteries)But the main thing is the sound, too low, u will not have a good time with this. But for $40 retail, U cant ask for much.
Worst piece of electronics ever purchased! December 3, 2002 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Let's be honest. This has to be the worst piece of electronics I have ever purchased. It was trouble from day 1. First of all, this baby drains Enegizer Titanium E2 batteries in less than 2 hours. Second, I never got my sandisk MMC card to work with it. The player would recognize it but wouldn't play anything on it. Third, KBGear.com is dead so forget about support. Please don't waste your time, money and energy on this MP3 player. Spend a couple of dollars extra and get a decent one.
Poor sound and no help July 2, 2002 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this for something to listen to and move around with. The volume is so low - at 100 you still can't hear the music. I tried to call the number that is on the user's guide and it is out of service! Not a good sign. Wish I had never bought the thing!
This Mp3 player stinks April 26, 2002 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I originally bought this at [a local store] for $... I didn't know much about mp3s then and I figured that 16 mb's was alot but it isn't. The second this bad about it was the battery level. After playing about two songs the battery life is almost dead. I bought two brand new batteries and they were dead by the end of the day. If i were you I would avoid this mp3 player.
