5 out of 5 stars Great Card   August 10, 2008
I also have a Canon 20D and I have never had a problem with this card. I travel a lot and use this camera for my job, usually max out the card with large format images. Never once had any problems. Do not know why other people are having problems.

1 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY FOR CANON CAMERAS   July 6, 2007
I have 4 of these cards being used for paper weights. Having shot a football game for the paper I came back with with no pictures and an upset editor, then discovered the warning on the Lexar website. Lexar will give me 4 new ones " What A Deal"

1 out of 5 stars Canon users beware!   June 1, 2007

I just discovered that this card can have problems when used in a Canon digital slr. Mine is a 1Ds and I filled the card to capacity on a recent trip to Croatia only to find that the images could not be retrieved when I returned. Lexar now has the card and hopefully can save the photos.

There is an advisory on the Lexar website dated June 2005 but no warning on the package.

I used the card several times before our trip and it worked fine. If you have this card and a Canon slr, check the Lexar website to determine if yours is a risk. Lexar will replace it with one that supposedly will not malfunction. If you are looking for a new card, best to pick another brand.

5 out of 5 stars Fast and flawless   January 10, 2007

Used with Canon EOS 20D. Managed 9+ JPG's and 5+ RAW continuous shots before the card couldn't save fast enough. That's typical and may be a limitation of the camera. But it recovered fast and allowed further multiple shots.

Used a 133x and Sandisk ExtremeIII. I've got to say I saw no difference whatsoever in write speed.

Storage size was perfect for my needs allowing about 8Mpixel RAW's on a card.

No corruptions and no issues.

1 out of 5 stars good memory card but not compatible with my canon xt   July 13, 2006

I have two old lexar compact flash and never had a problem with them,so I bought this 2GB cf,80X and I used it 3 times and last time I tried to see the pictures I had there,it said in the camera screen that the compact flash was corrupted and the pictures were lost!.I checked on the lexar website and it says there that there is a problem when using this memory card on a Canon XT digital camera,I wish I knew this before!.Now I have to send the memory card to them so they can recover the images and if not, then they will send a replacement.
DO NOT USE THIS MEMORY CARD ON A CANON XT!
