The Jam Jacket 40 is made from an injection molded translucent rubber that fits your iPod like a glove. The Jam Jacket 40 features a play-through design that provides total access to all of the iPod's scroll wheel. It also offers you great protection for your iPod with its built-in ultra thin transparent screen protector. Texturized rubber sides provide great feel and a secure hold.At approximately 1.5mm thick, it has a nice "grippy" feel to it and looks and feels like a million bucks when you hold it. An opening at the top provides complete access to the headphone/remote jack and hold button while an opening at the bottom provides access to the iPod's port connector.

I bought this for my 40gb Photo, and it fits just fine, but is very difficult to get the cover on and off due to the "stickyness" of the rubber to the Ipod. The protective cover that goes over the screen is a huge magnet for dust and is impossible to read the screen without the backlight on, even with the backlight on it is hard to see the screen clearly. Any dust or small particles that slide between the case and Ipod just scratches away at the Ipod's finish.
I plan on returning and trying the leather case.
