Organize and identify December 14, 2008 A great way to organize and identify wiring from computers, home theaters, and all other recording equipment
Terrible Quality December 11, 2008 Purchased in Mar '08, then 'poof!' burned out in Dec out of nowhere while my child was playing XBox 360. It's supposed to be a power surge protector, right? Thank god none of the devices I have broke and after reading the other review about Monster's warranty and backing, forget it. This product is a joke.
Great power strip for all your power needs December 2, 2008 Yeah, this power strip is small and doesn't have many power ports. Go spend more money during these difficult times on a more expensive power strip if you need to. However, once you get past the size, this is a great power strip. The cord provided is very long, and can reach all the way around the back of a desk, home theatre set up, or anywhere you decide to snake this cord around. The cost of this excellent power strip from Monster is cheap and does it's job: power electronics. I've got my Mac Book Pro, WD external HD, Klipsch speakers, and an iHome all plugged into it and it powers them all wonderfully. Sure, I might get clearance issues every once in a while but with a little organizational skills, I power them all fine. For the money, for quality that you're getting, and for the background you get with Monster cable, it doesn't get any better than this.
Monster Cable November 19, 2008 Is a good item if all of the plugs you are using stand upright and are standard sized. I got it to sit against a wall for sideways plugs. Holds plugs tightly so you'll have to push a little. No problems with it so far.
The thing fried October 1, 2008 After a few weeks the thing just fried. All devices plugged into it went off. The rest button did nothing. Exactly the same as what Douglas Schifter wrote in a previous review. No damage to any devices but I don't even thing there was a power surge. The lights (plugged in elsewhere) did not flicker. The thing just burned out. That's not very "Monster". I've replaced it with a surge/power strip made for computers (3000 joules protection) that was half the price of the Audio/Video Monster version (1400 joules protection). Monster is overpriced and inferior.
