never received September 29, 2008 I never received this product, lost in shipping (not the sellers fault.) Looks like a good case, but I couldn't tell you for sure. I gave it 3 stars because the seller handled the situation quickly and respectfully.
Doesn't even fit the phone September 23, 2008 This case doesn't even work with the N-95. I'm mad i bought it. don't wast your money
Product is not compatible with Nokia N95-3 September 22, 2008 Please do not purchase this product if you are looking for a case for the Nokia N95-3! Maybe it fits the original Nokia N95, but it absolutely will not fit the Nokia N95-3 as explained in previous reviews. The plastic part will damage your phone if you even try to force it in, and for a phone that costs more than $400, it's not even worth risking it. Don't make the same mistake that I made and waste your $ on this product.
Good luck getting your N95-3 in this case. August 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
While this case is advertised by AMAZON as being compatible with the "new" N95-3 (NAM, a.k.a., US 3G version), it isn't. Even SF Planet's own website (who supplied it) doesn't make that claim. Allegedly, the manufacturer is trying to make it work and even abandoned a former design if what I was told is true. The problem, of course, is the dual-slider design of the phone, and the fact that the solution attempted by Krusell--a plastic loop that's SUPPOSED to fit under the lower slider but not impede your ability to open the phone--doesn't work.
Two things will happen to you if you manage to get your phone in this thing--the lower slider will either get stuck and won't close, or the phone will be so tight that you can't open the slider without using two hands. My primary concern is that it will ultimately damage the slider, which while considered loose in the N95-1 has been tightened up in the N95-3. That, and the fact that the case simply doesn't fit.
The only answer is a horizontal pouch, but that's a good thing. Magnetic cover latch, easy removal, free lanyard (don't get the one labeled "SKY"), and fine construction (leather, strong clip AND belt loops). I blame Amazon, not SF Planet, for advertising it as being N95-3 compatible, although actually RECEIVING a credit would be nice since they promised it 24 days ago at the time of this writing.
The best case for N95 ( so far ) July 15, 2008 I am currently using this case for the N95-3, and it works ok. There are some annoyances ( like having to open the front cover to use the keypad ) but they are over shadowed by the protection the phone gets. What I really like is that it protects the Carl Zeiss lens from damage, better than any of the other cases I tried. I am satisfied with this purchase.
