Another addition to making better coffee November 3, 2008 This Bean Vac Coffee Canister appears to do exactly what it's supposed to do - create a vacuum, thus helping to keep the beans fresh. It couldn't be any easier to use, put in the coffee beans, close the lid and it pulls a vacuum. I'm not a dedicated gourmet coffee geek, but by using good, fresh roasted coffee beans, (I order on line), ground in a Capresso burr grinder and brewed in a Capresso Coffee maker using distilled water, I'm enjoying the best coffee I've ever had. I now drink it black, it's that good.
Problem with supplier September 23, 2008 I purchased this product from Ace Photo and Digital. Dont ask me why they supplied a coffee product, but regardless, the product stopped working after 1 week and they refused to accept a return, or an exchange nothing!
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM ACE PHOTO AND DIGITAL. THEY SUCK!!!!!
Best Kitchen Appliance!~ July 25, 2008 I am a major kitchen person: I cook all the time, and LOVE appliances. The Bean Vac is my all-time favorite appliance, because it does just what it says. You will never have stale coffee again. It's incredible. And the company's customer service is EXCELLENT!

Excellent product May 28, 2008 This canister is excellent for storing coffee beans and keeping them fresh much longer than ohter methods. Not having to plug it in is an extra plus
Don't Understand Bad Reviews May 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Reviewers have suggested that suction is lost over time or that the unit consumes batteries at a fast rate.
I have found neither to be the case with my newer, timer-equipped model. The unit maintains suction and bean flavor, and battery life (I use rechargeable batteries) is good. I have the timer set to its least frequent option for evacuating the canister and consider that fine for my purposes.
Overall, the product does exactly what it says it will, without any of the problems some other reviewers seem to have encountered. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
