Nothing like the photo September 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The curtain is NOTHING like the photo. It is not "natural" color bamboo but a dark mahogany color which I wanted the natural color to match my furniture. It also looks much thicker in the photo with horizontal layers. It has large gaps between strands and is see through. Very disappointed but luckily I didn't pay much for it. Amazon should remove this seller until they put up a more accurate photo of their products!
Bears no resemblance to the product photo June 5, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This bamboo curtain looks nothing like the photo online. The bamboo rods are not stitched horizontally in several rows as suggested by the photo. Also, the bamboo tubes decrease in size going from top to bottom, so that coverage is poor at the bottom. If you happen to like these curtains when they arrive, you're lucky. They sure won't be what you expected.
It's not what it looks like... October 27, 2006 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
The picture of this curtain makes it look thicker than it really is (by a long shot). It does not "screen out unwanted pests, birds and harsh sunlight". Well, maybe birds, but certainly not bugs or light. There are large gaps between each strand of beads and it's completely see through. This is not what you are looking for if you want a little privacy.
On a positive note, Amazon made the return very easy.
