Great sound December 3, 2008 Excellent low and high response headphones. The only gripe I have is that everyone can hear what you're listening to even at low volume.
Excellent quality headphones November 30, 2008 These headphones are made out of a good quality fabric that cups around the entire ears, making them very comfortable for hours. Also, their design makes them especially comfortable for people who wear glasses. The cord is very long and the cushion for the cranium is nice. Great set, pick 'em up if you got the dough. :)
GREAT SOUND.....THAT"S ALL! November 26, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
i bought these as a recommendation from a friend after my bose headphones broke (great sound + cheaply made = bose). i was very excited 'cause all i have heard is how amazing senheiser is and how i am going to love them. well, i received them and tried them out and now i am sitting here writing this review with a pair of sony mdr-v6 headphones on cause i returned these. i bought the sony's at frys for 80 bucks and love them.......why, you ask? let's just say i was pretty disappointed in the senheiser headphones. the sound was great and if you care about NOTHING else, then you are cool. other than that, these headphones are:
1.) pretty uncomfortable to wear. 2.) squeeze your head and make your jaw hurt. 3.) block absolutely ZERO outside noise 4.) let everyone that is around hear what you are listening to. not just at high volume, but normal volume. my wife was able to sing along with the song sitting 10 feet away. not good for the office enviornment. you think i am stretching the truth a bit....just buy these things and come back and tell me i was right! :)
SENT THEM BACK? November 25, 2008 I believe these are good quality and I've owned Senheiser headphones before but I had to send these back. I got a hissing vibration sound in my left ear only in gamers DVD and other movies. It was not the loud clicking sound that means you have the bass up to high. The vibration sound was intermittent and I felt like something was loose. The only option was to get a refund from Amazon. I took the option to have UPS pick them up and I paid nothing. TIP: If you want UPS to pickup you better have the box waiting outside your door or be ready to chase them or they will just leave you a label and run.
step-up November 24, 2008 I decided to replace my aging Sony MDR-V6 monitor with the Sennheiser HC-555 . Wow, what a difference. The tonality and clarity is so much defined. The bass just presents itself, it does not overwhelm everything else. Great midrange. I have enjoyed them for several hours at a sitting. The comfort level is superior. I would purchase them again if I needed a second set.
