 Map upgrade for Garmin STREETPILOT c550 August 30, 2008
I purchased the map upgrade for my c550 about a week ago. The cost was $79 and thusfar I can't tell any difference though it was listed as an upgrade for my unit.

I just started to use the mount and I found it very useful. It is also very easy to hide to stop theft. I would highly recommend it.
Portable Friction Dashbord Mount Makes my Nuvi more usable August 30, 2008
My spouse did not want the Garmin Nuvi we purchased mounted to the windshield because she had read that it encouraged thieves to break into the car. The friction mount enables us to mount the Nuvi on the dash in either of our cars, and it fits in the glovebox of one of our cars when not in use. It makes the Nuvi much more user friendly for us and was a very worthwhile purchase.

Wow, this thing works great. It does not slide even when you slam on brakes or turn sharply. I carry it in my suitcase with my garmin and dont have to pay the rental company each time for a GPS rental.
