Just plain bad sound. September 5, 2008 I'm giving these a "two" because of one feature: they fit in my ears better than most buds, and stay in during exercise better than most.
I bought a pair of these a while back; they performed well enough. Not great, but I'd have given them a three, maybe even a four.
I lost 'em.
Now, I've bought three new pairs, as part of package deal with MP3 players (Sansas ... which we like a lot) and they're awful.
The sound is simply muddy. Not exactly "bassy;" that would entail some degree of defined bass sound. No, these are simply muffled sounding. It's like listening to music (or even audio books) through a pillow.
Not worth the twenty bucks and at the list price - well, that's outright theft.
Serious Sound! September 2, 2008 These are the best addition to my workout since I bought my IPod Nano. The size and fit is truly one of the best features as it fully immerses you in the musice. I think they are great for runners especially as they don't jostle around like the ones that IPod gives you.
Another key point is that they have a long reach for when you are sitting, but not too long for when you are running. I like the black color as well so the cord doesn't show the dirt or sweat that comes with time.
Sound is top quality and the bass is strong. They have good clarity if you like your music really loud as well. Very good product for any active listener.
Very Nice August 31, 2008 Good bass, clean highs and the right size to fit my ear. Nice earbuds for the money. I like them better than my Sony and Coby earbuds.
Great sounding headphones August 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this product to use with an iPod Shuffle. I ruined the iBuds that come with the iPod by sweating into the earpieces while running. The sound quality is leaps and bounds ahead of the stock iPod earphones. When using these headphones, the clarity is so great that I hear parts of songs I've never heard before.
Pros: o Low price o Top-notch sound clarity o Deep bass
Cons: o The cord is too long, and becomes tangled easier than I sneeze o Not really noise canceling, they just work as earplugs o Rubber earplug part also functions as earwax collector
Great earbuds at a great price. August 30, 2008 The earbuds that came with my Zune suck. After shopping around Amazon, I found these and have been very happy with them. They were so good that my wife started using them for her Zune, so I had to buy another pair for myself.
