Great Helper December 23, 2008
I bought this to help some of my students who are a little behind in their learning. Students are being required to think more critically and solve problems. It's hard to do that when you don't fully understand text and can't pick up on context clues. This book gives many short paragraphs for students to read with highlighted words in the story. Then there are a few questions to help students figure out higher level vocabulary within the text. Great to help build vocabulary and enhance comprehension.
