It's aweful! October 20, 2002 This cd player plays music well, if you sit and don't move. It skips with every move you make. 2 Levels of bass boost.. kind of interesting, but if you are walking on the road and step too heavily, well, the music skips even for that. The color is really pretty (that's why i gave it 2 stars instead of 1), but be remeinded that the blue or red or whatever color that encompasses the little section on the top is easily scratch off... you'll see it after a little while and have no idea where the color went. For the money that you'll spend on this personal cd player, you can get a much better one for the same price, or add $10 more and get one that really works well.
WORST CD PLAYER EVER!!!!!!! August 29, 2002 I recieved this cd player on my birthday and it doesn't even last for 1 hour on batteries. When you push a button it skips and after using it for 1 1/2 hours it stops playing and the cd spins real fast. This is a piece of (!@#*. Spend your money on something better!!!!!!!!!!
Don't buy this cd player August 15, 2002 I have had my cd player for less than a year, and I have go buy another one becuase this one doesn't work any more. I the skip protection is horrible, the battery usage is horrible, and now I have trouble using the headphone jack. No matter what type of head phones I use, it does not play right. Don't waste your money on this cd player.
Decent for its price May 3, 2001 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This product does the job it advertises to do. It offers no ESP (shock protection), and that would be my main complaint. However, it is also one of the cheaper models, so you can't expect everything. That said, it still can handle minor motions. Jogging is out of the question, but walking is a possibility, so you won't necessarily be glued to your desk with this model. The CD player is fairly compact and stylish, probably fitting into most big coat pockets. The two levels of bass boost are nice, but since the unit already seems to be a little harder on battery consumption than others, I tend to turn it off (if it even makes a difference, I'm not sure). I haven't unwrapped the AC adapter yet, since I only use it when I'm on the go, but it's a nice addition. The headphones are adequate but I prefer my earphones just for portability sake. The best feature is that the hold switch, open disc, and volume sliders are all on the side of the unit. I only wish play and stop were too, so I'd never have to pull it out of my pocket or reach down inside. My last comment would be that when battery levels start fizzling out, it may take a huge amount of loading time before it plays (if at all). That's what keeping me from giving it 4 stars instead of 3. Maybe I should be happy it plays at all with so little power; I just wish it would make up its mind sooner instead of leaving me sit there waiting, wondering if I should replace the batteries or not.
pretty good cd player April 29, 2001 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This cd player has very good clear sound with a great bass boost. And since i am a first time buyer i find that it is very easy to use . The only problem with it is that it does skip alot but with the great price you can't expect to much.
