Product Description In 1981, Merriam-Webster defined the boom box as ?a large portable radio and tape player with two attached speakers?. Before the miniaturization craze took over, boom boxes ruled urban neighborhoods, city streets, public parks, and beaches. As the masses long ago embraced the boombox as an indispensable form of portable entertainment, it became an icon of popular culture, and we've yet to let it go. JWin's JX-CD462DS model continues the value-added revolution with an integrated CD player as well as the traditional cassette player option with one-touch recording from CD or radio. The integrated AM / FM stereo radio ensures access to the airwaves while dual voltage power options give globe-trotting boomers and international boombox aficionados uninterrupted boombox power. Power Requirement - 110V / 220V, 60Hz / 50Hz / Battery - 12V (8 x D size or UM1 batteries, not included) / Power Consumption - 14W Unit Dimensions (W x H x D) - Approx. 13.3 x 8.9 x 6.8 (336.6mm x 225.0mm x 172.2mm)

NOT dual voltage!!! December 15, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This product claims to be dual voltage, but it fried as soon as I plugged it in (we live overseas). We would have had to pay to return this defective product, and so it wasn't worth the bother. I will never order any products made by this brand again!

The Jwin player itself is great. I would recommend this to anyone. The problem is, it was misadvertised, it DOES NOT play MP3s, only CDs.
