The SL-J610V portable CD player has a unique Two-Way Listening feature allowing it to be used as a portable player or a desktop audio source. This model also features MP3 and CD-R/CD-RW playback, along with Panasonic's new D-Sound technology for enhanced digital audio clarity. D-Sound incorporates enhancements such as MP3 Re-Master Technology, a digital amplifier, Digital Auto Gain Control, and S-XBS. Model SL-J610V comes with new "Wrap It" backband headphones. For clear music from burned CDs, MP3 Re-Master Technology restores music data from MP3 or WMA files that may have been lost when compressed from CD tracks. The digital amplifier more accurately reproduces audio from a CD to give the listener crystal-clear sound with low noise, while S-XBS and Digital Auto Gain Control (D-AGC) ensure undistorted sound and improved bass response at high volume levels. New "Wrap It" headphones feature a strengthened voice coil and a cool backband design For listeners on the go, Panasonic players have a "No-Skip" Anti-Skip system and a 45-second memory buffer for uninterrupted music. The SL-J610V includes Panasonic's Power Last High Efficiency Power System for extra-long playback. The system combines a highly efficient motor with low-load circuitry for dramatically improved playback time. Model SL-J610V has a Digital Synthesizer Tuner for AM/FM radio with the ability to store up to 30 stations into memory (20 FM and 10 AM).
