Did not work November 29, 2007 My daughter wants to have music on while she sleeps like her big brother, so we ordered this. After the second night, the player stopped working in the middle of the night, and would not turn back on. In the morning it was fine. It worked another night, and then would not turn on again, so we returned it. We are waiting for the replacement now. I believe that it was overheating. I hope that the new one works - 4 year olds don't really understand things like this.
Piece of junk! November 28, 2007 Don't waste your money on this one. I got one from American Express (by redeeming some of the points I had). I wanted to use it in the kitchen when I'm cooking. The CD player didn't work well from the beginning and the radio keeps messing up after a few minutes - it has a lot of static after a while so you have to constantly adjust the dial. It's aggravating! I wish I had gotten something else instead. Stick with Sony or other reputable brands.
