Great Charger.....But... December 29, 2008 The Charger works great. The only thing is that it does not come with inserts for either the iPod touch 2nd Generation, nor the iPod Nano 4th Generation. You can go to the Griffin website and order them for $1.99 apiece. Other than that we love the charger.
great for charging December 21, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great for charging. Wish is it had more input/ output for connecting to stereo or TV and could leave it in the dock.
Simple but work as suggested December 21, 2008 There is not much to say about the Griffin Powerdock since its a simple product that just do what it suppose to do. Looks great with great finish - the only issue I have with it is the fact that the power cord is a bit short for my needs and I hope it was longer.
Dead on Arrival December 17, 2008 This is my second purchase in six months. The first unit had the right side go bad so I ordered a new one. Out of the box, this unit did not work at all! It's a nice looking unit and when it worked, the first one that is, it was a handy device. Warranty should cover both devices but Griffin needs to get a grip on quality control. It's a hassle going through their tech support before you can get a replacement too.
Charges, but no sync and no headphone jack sccess December 4, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The good: - Looks beautiful. - Packaging is very easy to open and re-close.
The bad: - No adapter for iPod Touch 2nd gen! - Once you snap in an adapter it is almost impossible to remove! - Directions are printed on the box. Once you discard the box, there is no paper-based list of which adapter to use with each iPod model.
The limitations: - No support for sync. - The charging base covers the headphone jack, so you can not use it to power the iPod while you listen to the iPod via radio AUX input.
